In Defense of Chris Christie’s Bromance with the Dallas Cowboys

So, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is getting ripped and criticized for his little bromance (non-sexual, close relationship between two men) with Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys.

Relax, you player haters! Can’t a man decide what sports team he wants to get his love on with? I mean if Barack Obama can be a “Chicago White Sox Fan” even though he is from Hawaii, or Indonesia or whatever, can’t Chris Christie bromance the Lone Star state’s greatest team?

I don’t hate a man for passionately loving a sports team, even if he is not from the state the team he loves plays in (not sure if that makes sense).

Governor Christie, forget the haters bro! I respect that you love the Dallas Cowboys and are the governor of a Northeastern liberal state whose electoral votes you won’t win if you run for President anyways.

I think it’s good for Christie to “bromance the Lone Star.” I mean, maybe if he wins enough Texas support you can win their Electoral College votes instead of New Jersey’s.

Maybe for a potential Republican Presidential candidate, being friends with Texas and their voters is not a bad thing after all.

Maybe, Chris Christie will be saying, "Hook 'em Horns" sooner than we think!
